With the aid of authentic
colonial dress, guns and other props, Vince relates humorous and factual
stories from the convict years through to the death of Ned Kelly. He
explains the colourful dress of the Wild Colonial Bushrangers - and why
the dressed so flamboyantly. The explanation of the loading of the
cumbersome firearms used by the bushrangers, leads to startling fact
unknown to many Australians. Where primary school children are involved
songs are used to enhance the show. A question time at the end of the
show allows further involvement of the children particularly if they
have been studying any areas of Australian History in their curriculum.
The show can be used before, during or after a unit on Australian
History but it is not essential as children with little knowledge of our
history will find the show entertaining and informative.
All performances can be arranged for both daytime and night time
appearances and for any age group.
The show has a minimum attendance of 60 people.
